4.4 Refunds

Refunds are subject to the policies of the App Store or payment platform used.
We do not issue refunds directly unless required by law.

5. Use of Content

All story content, illustrations, text, graphics, and materials within StoryMe are owned by us or our licensors.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content.

  • Use the App for commercial purposes without permission.

  • Reverse engineer, modify, or attempt to access the App’s source code.

Personalized stories are provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

6. User Inputs & Generated Content

When you enter information such as a child’s name, age, or preferences, you:

  • Grant us permission to use these details solely to generate personalized stories.

  • Confirm that you have the right to provide this information.

We do not claim ownership over user-provided data or generated stories.

7. Children’s Use

StoryMe is designed for families but is intended to be used by parents or guardians.
Children should not create accounts or enter personal information themselves.

8. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the App in any unlawful or harmful manner.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to StoryMe systems or servers.

  • Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any law.

  • Interfere with the functionality of the App or website.

9. Availability & Updates

We aim to keep the App running smoothly but cannot guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted access,

  • Error-free operation, or

  • Immediate fixes to bugs.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

StoryMe is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no warranties regarding:

  • The accuracy of generated stories,

  • The availability of the App, or

  • Suitability of content for any particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, StoryMe and its developers are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,

  • Loss of data, revenue, or profit,

  • Issues arising from third-party services (e.g., payment processors).

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to discontinue its use.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

  • You violate these Terms,

  • You misuse the App, or

  • Required for security or legal reasons.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes must be resolved under this jurisdiction.
